Rally Season 2010.

KIRKISTOWN Race Circuit – Saturday 16th January spectators observed formula Ford Racer Simon Woodside from Templepatrick participating in his BMW M3 alongside Navigator Allan Harryman. Extremely good laps  for the New Year Stages. Concluding the day, conditions were good and Crozier Motorsport Eng Team enjoyed the day to start the beginning of the Rallying Season.

GALWAY International Rally – Saturday 6th February & Sunday 7th February 2010.  Over the two day event Sunday evening seen two of our drivers home safely in top positions. Martin Ward along side Linda Conroy Ward in the Opel Manta A Finishing 1st in the Historic Category. Brillant Results for the Crozier Motorsport Eng Team.John Morris Driving his Ford Escort Cosworth along side Navigator Declan Sylver finished 10th in the National Category.

KIRKISTOWN Race Circuit – Saturday 27th February 2010. Organised by North Armagh Motor Club Ltd, the Pedro Pet Foods Rally featured six stages, all held within the confines of County Down’s Kirkistown Race Circuit. Crozier Motorsport Team were kept busy with 3 cars participating in Round 1  Northern Ireland  Rally Championship.

MONDELLO Rallycross – Sunday 7th March 2010. – Declan McKeown in his BMW M3 took part in the rallycross racing 5 laps and finish position of 2nd. Brillant day’s results.

BISHOPSCOURT Race Circuit on Saturday 13thMarch 2010, seen Round2 Northern Ireland Rally Championship  which Simon Woodside – BMW M3, Jay Colville – Ford Escort MK II and first time out this year is Connor Lavery- BMW M3 HillClimb Champion. Jay Colville with Co-Driver Ian Milligan finishing in their MK II 41st O/A and 3rd in Class 6.  

MAYO Stages Rally at Claremorris – 14th March 2010. Crozier Motorsport Eng Team Crew was David Leonard and CoDrive Adrian Foley in a Citroen Saxo S1600 and Andrew Mullen alongside Co-Driver Elaine Doherty in a Mitsubishi Evo 8. David having a good run over 9 stages finished 29th O/A and 3rd in Class 6, Andrew aldo having a good run   over the 9 stages finished in 55th O/A and 4thin Class 8 – Good enjoyable day all round.

MOTO MIDLANDS Stages Rally – 28th March 2010. David Leonard and Co-Drive Adrian Foley in a Citroen Saxo S1600 Finishing 20th O/A and 3rd in Class 6. Andrew Mullen alongside Co-Driver Elaine Doherty in a Mitsubishi Evo 8 finishing 25th O/A and 2nd Class 8.

NUTTS CORNER – Saturday 24th April 2010 – Declan McKeown is his Remus BMW M3 took part in the circuit event.

MONAGHAN STAGES RALLY – Sunday 25th April 2010 – David Leonard finished 28 overall and 1st in class, brillant day and brillant results. Padrig Doogan retired in his Ford Escort Mk II and Jono Doogan finished 2nd overall and 2nd in his class in the junior section. So Overall good Weekend’s Rallying and the CrozierEngTeam are now busy with the preperation for Enniskillen Event on May day bank holiday, Tour of the Sperrins & Carlow Rally in the next few weeks.

McALEER SPAR STAGES RALLY (Enniskillen) – Mon 3rd May 10. – Declan McKeown had his BMW M3 out at the May day bank holiday event alongside him was Paul Mullholland, keeping good stage time over the 6 runs Declan  brought his M3 home in 44th Overall.

TOUR OF THE SPERRINS – Sat 9th May 10. – Out in force today are duo Clive Kilpatrick in his Evo with codriver Ian Johnston competing in class 9 over 6 stages. Good day all round.

CARLOW MK II CHALLANGE RALLY. – Sun 10 May 10. – Second Event for Jack Maguire out in his new build Ford Escort RS MKII which i might mention got voted ** Best MK II ** participating in the Rally. Brilliant day’s rallying and good weather seen Jack and Paul Maguire finishing with 14o/a and 3rd in class 21.

JIM CLARKE NATIONAL RALLY – 28th & 29th May 10. Jack & Paul Maguire out in the new Mk II Ford Escort ,

Cavan Rally – Sun 30th May 10 – David Leonard & Adrain Foley out in the Citroen Saxo for this event had a smooth run over the 8 out of 9 stages (one being cancelled) brought the saxo home 32 o/a & 2ns in class 6. Brilliant Results!

MODERN TYRE SERVICE MOURNE RALLY – Sat 5th June 10. Crozier Motorsport Team was kept on their toes today having 4 clients participating in this local event. Declan McKeown& Duncan McFarland in the BMW M3 Competed as 00. Clive Kilpatrick & Richard Hunniford in the Mitsubishi Evo 5 had a steady run over the 9 stages, David Leonard & Adrain Foley in the Citroen Saxo also had a good day. Andrew Mullen & Elaine Doherty started the day but unfortunately retired at stage 3.
